"Surgery has been my passion since high school biology class. The marvels of the human body, how it was created, how it works, how it mends itself and how incredibly resilient it is, peaked my interest in trying to understand the mysteries of life.
It was not until becoming a surgeon that I realized the true focus of being a surgeon was not what the human body was made of but whom. The person emanating from the physical body was the real mystery to unravel. The mechanics how the body works is the science of medicine and has been well studied and we have many answers. But the person is the real mystery.
Surgery allows me to help heal the body so the person can flourish. Getting to know the person takes me one more step towards understanding the mysteries of life. It is an honor and a pleasure to be a surgeon."
